Art director, brand strategist, and design nerd turning big ideas into smart, standout creative.
For nearly two decades, I’ve helped mission-driven brands find their voice and tell their story—through campaigns, visual identities, and the occasional perfectly worded headline.
I work where strategy meets execution: leading teams, pitching ideas, directing shoots, and fine-tuning the details that make a good concept great. My approach is rooted in clarity, collaboration, and the belief that design should make people feel something—and do something.
Whether I’m launching a new brand or refreshing an established one, I bring a sharp eye, a curious mind, and a commitment to making work that actually works.
The First Spark
I was eight when my little brother was diagnosed with Type I diabetes. Overnight, our lives changed—we learned how to give insulin shots, count carbs, and read blood sugar meters. My parents threw themselves into advocacy, partnering with other families to launch the Rod Gilbert Golf Tournament to benefit the Diabetes Research Institute Foundation.
That event marked my first design gig. I overheard them discussing the outrageous cost of hiring someone to design the commemorative journal—one of the fundraiser’s biggest sources of income. I was sixteen, had no experience, but I volunteered anyway.
Looking back, that was my first lesson in using design to help a cause. That same drive still fuels everything I do.
ART director
I’m a collaborative, solutions-focused designer with 19+ years of experience translating strategy into compelling, effective creative across print, digital, and motion.
At Fordham University, I led design for high-impact enrollment campaigns and major marketing initiatives, helping unify and modernize the brand. I art-directed photo shoots, built a digital asset archive, and produced hundreds of deliverables annually—from brochures to banner ads.
Most recently, I was an Art Director at Fenton, a leading social change agency. I developed branding and campaigns for nonprofits, foundations, and advocacy groups—partnering with strategy, digital, and accounts to create work that was fast, intentional, and emotionally resonant.
Across every role, I’ve learned how to push creative boundaries while staying true to a brand’s voice. I believe the best ideas come from curiosity, empathy, and great cross-functional collaboration.
a mom demanding action
After the Marjory Stoneman Douglas shooting, I attended my first Moms Demand Action meeting, hoping to offer design support. I quickly found myself canvassing for candidates to help flip the New York Senate and soon became the Local Legislative Lead.
I built relationships with lawmakers, spoke at public events, and led a growing team of volunteers. During the pandemic, we adapted our approach from knocking on doors to running weekly phone and text banks to maintain our momentum.
New York now has some of the strongest gun laws in the country. I’m proud to have contributed to this progress and believe it’s time to bring that same energy to the federal level.
