The Sound of the Next Generation: Creative Inflections Announcement
The Doris Duke Charitable Foundation’s Creative Inflections program provided grants totaling $1M to seven jazz artists at the top of their craft to collaborate with five presenting organizations on experimental, multi-disciplinary work exploring social justice themes and expanding audiences for jazz.
Creative INFLECTIONS ANNOUNCEMENT
To coincide with the announcement, I developed the concept and fully executed a short video using Adobe Premiere and Photoshop. The piece weaves together artist interviews, candid photos, and original music to capture the spirit of the work— something a press release alone couldn’t convey.
